A report below following our meeting on Tuesday 12 May 2026. 

What a splendid evening of fraternal friendship was enjoyed at Wakefield Lodge No. 495 by the Brethren and eight visitors representing Lodges from far and wide.

The visitors witnessed Bro. Frank being Passed in fine style, with the team performing at its very best and delivering a truly excellent ceremony. The ceremony was led by W.Bro. Andrew, and no one would have guessed it was his first ceremony as Master of the Lodge, as he delivered a flawless performance throughout.

The Lodge was also delighted to receive a proposal for a new joining member, together with the presentation of two Grand Lodge Certificates by W.Bro. Jonathan, who gave an excellent explanation of their significance to Bro. Salim and Bro. Andrew.

The festive board that followed was excellent as always, with a warm atmosphere and genuine friendship for all to witness — truly Freemasonry at its very best. A total of £131 was also raised for the Festival.
